Plateau Printing & Office Supplies alleged to owe more than $280,000 for loan

FAYETTEVILLE – A financial institution alleges a terminated Fayette County limited liability company failed to repay a loan in full.

Branch Banking and Trust Co. filed a complaint Jan. 26 in Fayette Circuit Court against Plateau Printing & Office Supplies LLC, Jennifer R. Arrington and Megan N. Arrington alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 30, 2012, the plaintiff provided a loan to Plateau Printing & Office Supplies LLC in the amount of $272,700. The suit states the Arringtons were guarantors on the loan.

As of Aug. 10, 2017, the total payoff balance $212,708.11, excluding interest, fees, taxes and insurance allegedly remains due and owing. 

The plaintiff seeks damages in the total amount of $285,818.68, plus accruing interest, fees, costs and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. It is represented by James W. Lane Jr. and Amy L. McLaughlin of Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso PLLC in Charleston. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Paul M. Blake Jr.
