Evans Trucking allegedly owes more than $11,000 for fuel

KINGWOOD – An Eglon company is alleged to have failed to pay for fuel and other items it purchased form a Maryland corporation.

Fair Price Market Inc. filed a complaint Feb. 8 in Preston Circuit Court against Evans Trucking LLC, Robert Evans Sr. and Stacey Evans alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in January 2013, defendants requested to establish a charge account for fuel and other sundry items sold by plaintiff. The suit states that after all proper credits and allowances, the amount of $11,088.76 remains due and owing by the defendants. 

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants, jointly and severally, in the amount of $11,088.76, plus interest, attorney's fees, costs and such other equitable and just relief. It is represented by James E. Smith II in Keyser. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Lawrance S. Miller Jr.
