Law money 12

LOGAN — A Logan County landlord is suing a tenant, alleging it owes $12,500 for breach of a lease agreement.

G&M Enterprises filed a complaint March 13 in Logan Circuit Court against Body Kneads LLC, alleging the tenant intentionally failed to perform its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 1, 2016, Body Kneads agreed to rent G&M's plaintiff's premises and utilities at 19A Main Ave., Logan.

As of December 2017, the suit says, the total sum of $12,500 remains due and unpaid. The plaintiff alleges Body Kneads has failed and refuses to pay the agreed rent.

G&M Enterprises seeks trial by jury, damages for unpaid rent and utilities, plus interest, attorney fees, court costs and all further relief the court deems just and proper. It is represented by attorneys Steven S. Wolfe and J. Christopher White of Wolfe, White & Associates in Logan.
