MOUNDSVILLE — A Pleasant Valley rental company is suing a Cameron construction business, alleging it owes more than $20,000 for breach of contract.

Leslie Equipment Co. filed a complaint April 2 in Marshall Circuit Court against Q & M Construction Inc. alleging failure to perform its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, Leslie Equipment rented certain equipment to Q & M in the amount of $20,878.43. After payment of $728.43, the suit says, the balance of $20,150 remains payable.

The plaintiff alleges Q & M Construction has failed and refuses to fully pay the rent due on the equipment provided by Leslie.

Leslie Equipment seeks trial by jury, judgment for $20,150, plus continually accruing interest from Sept. 6, 2017, and costs of court. It is represented by attorney John R. Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa PC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
