WEST UNION — A Texas painting business is suing a Bridgeport contractor, alleging it owes more than $92,000 for breach of a subcontract agreement.
Humber Painting Inc. filed a complaint April 9 in Doddridge Circuit Court against North Central Contracting LLC, alleging the general contractor failed to perform its contractual obligations.
According to the complaint, Humber Painting provided painting works and certain materials and equipment to a North Central Contracting project in the amount of at least $91,492.31. As of April 4, the suit says, the total amount of $92,891.043, interest included, remains due and owing.
The plaintiff alleges North Central Contracting has failed and refuses to pay the amount due.
Humber Painting seeks trial by jury, damages of $92,891.03, plus accruing interest, attorney fees, costs and all further relief the court deems just and appropriate. It is represented by attorney Mary K. Prim of Scott Depot.
