Law money 10

HUNTINGTON — A tire distributor is suing a Cabell County company, alleging failure to pay more than $2.5 million for goods delivered.

Cook Tire Incorporated filed a complaint April 12 in Cabell Circuit Court against Revelation Energy LLC,  alleging failure to fulfill its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, at various times in 2016, 2017 and 2018, Cook Tire provided goods and services to Revelation Energy on credit. After proper credits for all payments and returned merchandise, the amount of $2,588,643.33 remains due and owing.

The plaintiff alleges Revelation Energy has failed and refuses to make payments for the said amount or any part thereof.

Cook Tire seeks trial by jury, judgment of $2,588,643.33, plus interest, court costs and all further relief the court deems appropriate. It is represented by attorney Ryan S. Marsteller of Bailes, Craig & Yon PLLC in Huntington.
