North Carolina company alleges Bayliss and Ramey owes nearly $93,000

WINFIELD — A North Carolina corporation is suing a highway contractor, alleging breach of contract.

Rosenblatt and Associates Inc., doing business as RAI Products, filed a complaint April 18 in Putnam Circuit Court against Bayliss and Ramey Inc., alleging  the company failed to pay for delivered goods.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Aug. 5, 2016 and July 1, 2017 the plaintiff sold and delivered traffic control products to the defendant on credit. As of April 31, the amount of $92,469, interest included, remains payable. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks a judgment against the defendant in the amount of $92,469, plus any additional accruing interest and all further relief as the court may deem proper. The plaintiff is represented by Stephen L. Thompson of Barth & Thompson in Charleston.
