Panhandle Cleaning says Mason Rehab failed to pay for flood repairs

Law money 05

WHEELING — A remediation service provider is suing Terry Mason and Mason Rehab Center, alleging a  breach of an emergency work authorization agreement.

Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration Inc. filed a complaint April 27 in Ohio Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that they failed to perform their contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 29, 2017 the company provided labor, equipment and materials to remediate flood damage to the defendant's property at the cost of $44,781.32. To date, the account is delinquent in the amount of $37,628.64, the suit claims. The plaintiff holds Mason and his business responsible because despite repeated demands Panhandle Cleaning has yet to receive full  payment.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks a judgment against the defendant for $37,628.64, plus interest, costs, attorney's fees and any further relief as the court may deem necessary. It is represented by Eric A. Schramm of Hanlon, Estadt, McCormick & Schramm Co. LPA in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
