Fayette Co. couple alleges negligence caused wife's fall at hair salon

FAYETTEVILLE — A Fayette County couple is suing a hair salon owner, alleging negligence led to the wife sustaining injuries.

Rosalie Ingrid Lotts and David Pence Lotts filed a complaint in Fayette Circuit Court against Regis Corporation, alleging failure to to maintain a proper and safe business premises.

According to the complaint, on Aug. 11, 2016, Rosalie Lotts was at the Smartstyle Family Hair Salon in Fayetteville. The suit says Lotts fell due to a water accumulation on the floor and suffered injuries that led to medical bills of more than $10,000. 

Furthermore, the suit alleges, David Pence Lotts has been deprived of the consortium of his wife. The plaintiffs allege the defendangts permitted water to accumulate at a business premises.

Rosalie Lotts and David Lotts seek trial by jury, damages sufficient to compensate them for the untoward consequences, plus costs, attorney fees and pre- and post-judgment interests. They are represented by attorney James W. Keenan of Keenan & Associates L.C. in Fayetteville.
