Telephone directory alleges two Charleston attorneys owe $138,000

CHARLESTON — A directory company is suing two attorneys, alleging breach of contract.

Ogden Directories Inc., doing business as EzToUse.com, filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Michael Myers and Paul Perfater, doing business as Myers & Perfater Attorneys At Law, alleging they owe more than $138,000 for advertising. 

According to the complaint, EzToUse.com has suffered monetary damages from the defendants' failure to pay $138,122.33 for advertising services received from the plaintiff on various dates. The plaintiff alleges Myers & Perfater has failed to fulfill its obligations under the advertising contracts and has received and retained benefits without paying dues at the expense and detriment of the plaintiff.

EzToUse.com seeks trial by jury, judgment for $138,122.33, plus post-judgment interest and costs. It is represented by attorneys James B. Atkins and Paul S. Atkins of Atkins & Ogle Law Offices LC in Buffalo.
