BECKLEY – A Beckley business alleges a Bluefield construction company failed to pay it for steel products.

National Energy Holding Co., doing business as SteelCon Supply, filed a complaint in Raleigh Circuit Court against Lambert's Construction Co. of Bluefield, Alex Lambert and Lesley Lambert alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff provided structural steel and related products to the defendants on an open account in the amount of $19,269.32. The plaintiff alleges Lambert Construction sent a check for more than $7,000 and that check was returned in August due to insufficient funds.

The plaintiff holds Lambert's Construction Co. of Bluefield, Alex Lambert and Lesley Lambert responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the balance due.

The plaintiff seeks an amount of $19,269.32 plus interest, costs and attorney's fees. It is represented by James R. Sheatsley of Gorman, Sheatsley & Co. LC in Beckley.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Robert A. Burnside Jr.
