WINFIELD — A Putnam County woman is suing Lyndon Jones Facility and Contracting Services, Inc. and Home Construction Management LLC, citing alleged negligence in performing a service.
Betty Alderman filed her complaint against the defendants in Putnam Circuit Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 15, 2017, Alderman was properly utilizing a shower chair installed by the defendants when it pulled loose from the wall and caused her to fall and suffer an injury. The plaintiff holds Lyndon Jones Facility and Contracting Services, Inc. and Home Construction Management LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly were negligent in the construction or installation of the shower chair.
Alderman requests a trial by jury and seeks an amount sufficient to compensate her for the damages she suffered, cost of suit and other further relief the court finds just and proper. She is represented by Thomas H. Peyton of Peyton Law Firm PLLC in Nitro.
