CHARLESTON – A Kanawha County driver alleges she was injured when another motorist failed to stop for a red light at a Charleston intersection and collided with her vehicle.
Elizabeth Auxier filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Lara R. Bryant alleging negligence.
The suit states that the plaintiff was driving on RHL Boulevard in Charleston on Nov. 17, 2017, and was stopped at a red light at its intersection with U.S. 119 north. She alleges once the light changed, the plaintiff began to turn left. The suit states the defendant, who was traveling on U.S. 119 south, failed to stop and struck the plaintiff's vehicle, causing injury. The suit states a crash report states that the defendant was cited for failure to stop for a red light.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Alan L. Pritt of Pritt & Spano PLLC in Charleston.
The case has been assigned to Judge Tera Salango.
