CHARLESTON — West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey has joined a coalition of 50 state and territorial attorneys general in urging Congress to affirm that all law-enforcement agencies retain their traditional authority to fight sex trafficking.

WINFIELD – A Cabell County woman blames a hospital, physician and nurse for missing signs that her sister was about to have a stroke. Joyce L. Stevens, the sister and Power of Attorney for Sharon E. Burge, filed her complaint Sept. 15 in Putnam Circuit Court against Pleasant Valley Hospital Inc., Dr. Zachary B. Adkins and Shelly Willham, a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Burge is a resident of Racine, Ohio.
CLARKSBURG – Santarus, Inc., and Veloxis Pharmaceutical A/S are suing Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Inc., for allegedly attempting to sell a generic drug they hold patents on.
