MARTINSBURG -- In-house counsel at the country's top 500 companies have recognized Martin & Seibert, L.C. as their "Go-To law firm."

Less than one half of 1 percent of all law firms in the United States and abroad are selected.

"Recognition such as this only highlights the firm's dedication and forward thinking on behalf of our clients," said Walter M. Jones, III, the firm's managing shareholder.

"Go-To" firms are identified through surveys of general counsel asking which law firms they turn to for assistance. Data is also gleaned from public records including court dockets as well as leading legal and business publications. The firms are then identified in an annual reference guide available to the nation's largest companies.

Martin & Seibert lawyers have gained national distinction in their individual practice areas and are often called upon to lecture and author in their respective fields. Lawyers from the firm have taught other practitioners in the areas of litigation management, insurance, employment law and consumer class actions. Some of the firm's attorneys have also been recognized as expert witnesses. Martin & Seibert, L.C. focuses its practice on litigation and business matters on a regional and national scope representing businesses from storefronts to multi-national organizations.
