Credit lender claims C A and F Transport owes more than $7,000

PRINCETON – A Georgia credit card company is suing a West Virginia transport company for breach of contract, seeking to recover more than $7,000 in allegedly unpaid debt.

Fleetcor Technologies Operating Co. LLC of Norgross, Georgia filed a lawsuit on Nov. 25 in Mercer Circuit Court against C A and F Transport Inc. of Bluefield.

According to the complaint, Fleetcor is seeking to recover $7,196.57 in credit card charges and fees accrued on a Universal Premium Fleet Mastercard that the transport company allegedly applied for in November 2013.

Fleetcor is asking for judgment against C A and F Transport and seeks $7,196.57 in unpaid principal plus statutory interest per annum as well as attorney fees, which totaled $1,979.31 at filing.

Fleetcor is represented in the case by attorney John R. Keating of Amato, Keating and Lessa PC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The case is being heard by Circuit Judge Omar J. Aboulhosn.
