Soul food brings WVU Law students together at BLSA luncheon

WVU's Black Law Student Association hosted its 8th Annual Soul Food Luncheon in February, a popular event that is more than just a fundraiser. T’Keyah Nelms, President of the BLSA, told The West Virginia Record, “It is absolutely amazing how a simple plate of delicious food lowers inhibitions, increases comfortability, and encourages fellowship with one another.”

West Virginia Chamber names Dinsmore attorneys to committee positions

CHARLESTON – The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce recently elected two Dinsmore attorneys for chair positions on committees. Mark Carter has been named chair of the Human Resources Committee and Anna Dailey has been named chair of the Civil Justice Committee.

Morrisey seeks to combat opioid abuse with youth education program

CHARLESTON – More West Virginia nursing colleges have signed on with Attorney General Patrick Morrisey in his new program to educate children about the dangers of prescription drug abuse.
