Three WVU students named Goldwater Scholars
MORGANTOWN -- West Virginia University 's long history of undergraduate students earning the nation's premier award in math, science and engineering continues. This year three WVU students, the most in any one year since 1994, have been awarded Goldwater Scholarships.
Interim director of WVU mine training center named; second class starts
MORGANTOWN -- Interim director of West Virginia University 's Mining Extension Department Joe Spiker has announced that Tom Hall has been named interim director of the Dolls Run Mine Training and Placement Center near Core in Monongalia County.
