CHARLESTON – A Florida couple is suing several companies over the husband's lung cancer diagnosis.
Simon L. Green and Deanna S. Green filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Aecom Energy & Construction Inc., formerly known as URS Energy & Construction Inc., and others alleging negligence and other counts.
The suit states Simon L. Green was diagnosed with lung cancer on Sept. 13, 2018. The suit states the plaintiff was employed as a laborer or operator during his career from 1955 to 1999 and was exposed to asbestos.
The plaintiffs are seeking a trial by jury and are represented by attorneys with Goldberg Persky and White firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Weirton and the Segal Law Firm in Charleston.
The case has been assigned to Judge Ronald Wilson.
