Ryan Environmental alleged to owe more than $75,000 on loan

KINGWOOD – A Preston County man alleges a Harrison County-based company defaulted on a loan.

Ralph E. Lewis filed a complaint in Preston Circuit Court against Ryan Environmental LLC alleging failure to pay.

The suit states Hawkeye Services assigned and conveyed a promissory note to the plaintiff in January 2015, and that in January 2015, Hawkeye made a purchase money loan to the defendant for $300,000.

The plaintiff alleges the loan matured on Jan. 5 but the defendant defaulted on the payment of the loan. The amount of $75,000 is allegedly due and owing.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Robert Louis Shurman of Reeder & Shurman in Morgantown.

The case has been assigned to Judge Steven Shaffer.
