CHARLESTON -- A North Carolina judge says West Virginia already has the makings of a good business court system.

CHARLESTON -- North Carolina's business court has mandatory jurisdiction over certain types of cases: those involving a material issue related to the law of corporations, securities, antitrust law, state trademark, unfair competition, intellectual property as well as certain cases involving technology.
The people need an elected governor
Say you lose a key employee. Sure, the rest of the staff can pick up the slack for a while, but that position needs to be filled as fast as possible because other employees can't be expected to do an adequate job covering the open position and doing their work as well.

Beckley hospital plans to sue over Medicaid reimbursements
BECKLEY – Appalachian Regional Healthcare Inc. has issued a 30-day notice of its intent to sue the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources and its Bureau for Medical Services for inadequate Medicaid reimbursement rates that threaten the continued operation of the not-for-profit Beckley ARH Hospital.
