Parents sue Associated Radiologist for son's injuries

CHARLESTON - A Kanawha County couple is suing Associated Radiologist Inc. after they claim it is responsible for their son's permanent injuries Dr. Jennifer Smith was also named as a defendant in the suit. On Dec. 13, 2010, Gabriel Griffith presented to his pediatrician, Dr. Ann Lambernedis, with complaints of vomiting over the last week and on Dec. 27, 2010, he returned to Lambernedis with vomiting, but there is no record of Lambernedis taking his pulse at the visit, according to a complaint

CHARLESTON - A Boone County man is suing Thomas Memorial Hospital after he claims he was injured at its emergency room. On Aug. 30, 2013, Stoney Vealey presented to TMH's emergency department with depression, suicidal thoughts and alcohol abuse, according to a complaint filed June 5 in Kanawha Circuit Court. CHARLESTON - Gillmann Services Inc. is suing Charleston Hotel Venture LLC after it claims the company failed to pay for services and labor. Vic of WV LLC was also named as a defendant in the suit. LOGAN—A Logan County resident is suing a dermatologist and his business, alleging medical malpractice when a 2013 treatment procedure led to unanticipated injuries from a fall. Jarron Gore filed a complaint against Beckley Dermatology d/b/a Dermatology Associates and Surgery Center in Logan Circuit Court June 18, asserting negligence in August 2013 when he sought treatment. According to the filing, Gore presented to the defendant to have a spot or lesion removed from his hand on Aug. 19, 2013.

GLENVILLE—A Putnam County company filed suit against Gilmer County business claiming breach of contract in 2012 Triad Engineering Inc. of Scott Depot filed a grievance against Smith Land Surveying Inc. of Glenville in Gilmer Circuit Court June 8, asserting breach of contract in a December 2012 service agreement. According to the filing, Triad contracted with the defendant to render engineering services on its behalf in or prior to December 2012.
