PRINCETON – A woman is suing Little General Store after she claims her employment was wrongfully terminated. Vicki Whitt was also named as a defendant in the suit. On March 2, 2013, Crystal Burress was hired by Little General as a crew employee and in May 2013, she was promoted to shift manager and in 2014, to assistant store manager, according to a complaint filed in Mercer Circuit Court. Burress claims shortly after beginning her employment with the defendant, she began suffering harassment
WHEELING – A Lewis County man is suing Wheeling Hospital, claiming that the facility failed to acknowledge his legal representation and instead continued to collect an outstanding debt directly from him.
CHARLESTON – A man is suing over claims he suffered traumatic bodily injuries when his apartment ceiling collapsed onto him. Robert L. Minued filed a lawsuit in the Kanawha Circuit Court against Charleston-Kanawha Housing Authority and Orchard Manor Resident Management Corporation citing negligence.
MOUNDSVILLE – A Moundsville man claims he was wrongfully fired from his construction and maintenance job with a Hare Krishna community in Marshall County. Joshua Hawley filed his lawsuit in Marshall Circuit Court against ISKCON New Vrindaban Inc., which is a non-profit religious organization that oversees the unincorporated area of New Vrindiban near Moundsville.
