CHARLESTON – The West Virginia Judicial Investigation Commission has dismissed a complaint filed against state Supreme Court of Appeals Justice Robin Davis. According to a news release issued by West Virginia’s high court Tuesday, the commission voted unanimously May 22 to dismiss the complaint against Davis. The complaint was filed by former gubernatorial candidate Bill Maloney in April.

KINGWOOD—A Preston County resident filed a lawsuit against a school jurisdiction claiming infringement of the Wage Payment and Collection Act and other state regulations in her 2015 job dismissal. Janelle Riggleman filed a grievance against Preston County Board of Education, June 18 in Preston Circuit Court asserting that she was not paid properly following her February 2015 discharge. According to the filing, the plaintiff was hired by the defendant on Oct. 10, 2014.
