KINGWOOD—A Preston County resident filed a lawsuit against a school jurisdiction claiming infringement of the Wage Payment and Collection Act and other state regulations in her 2015 job dismissal. Janelle Riggleman filed a grievance against Preston County Board of Education, June 18 in Preston Circuit Court asserting that she was not paid properly following her February 2015 discharge. According to the filing, the plaintiff was hired by the defendant on Oct. 10, 2014.
