An insurance company has filed suit over an incorrectly installed refrigerator that caused considerable water damage to an insured party's home. Nationwide Property & Casualty Insurance Company filed a lawsuit on Aug. 14 in Ohio County Circuit Court in West Virginia against Liberty Transportation, Inc. for the costs of water damage incurred after a refrigerator was installed incorrectly.

Wheeling woman fired after short-term disability leave sues ex-employer

WHEELING – An employee who took an extended leave of absence on short-term disability has filed suit after she wasn't reinstated upon returning to work.Edna J. Tullius of Wheeling sued former employer Silgan Plastics Corp. on Aug.11 after she was let go upon returning from short-term disability leave.
